Remote Network Monitoring & Management

 

Through Allied Digital’s Global Command Center we help customers to have maximum uptime for their critical networks along with efficient utilization of expensive network resources. Through NOC we monitor all network devices like Routers & Switches along with WAN links. We also provide services like device management, configuration management, fault management & load management.

Remote Network Management

Allied Digital uses a probe-server model to remotely monitor networking devices. Each probe, installed at the customer LAN, provides auto discovery and monitoring. Data from multiple probes are collected and aggregated on the central server for alarm processing and reporting. Probes use a secure HTTPS connection to communicate with the central server. Probes also compress the data before sending to central to save the bandwidth.

Router and WAN Monitoring

Allied Digital NOC helps to monitor and troubleshoot WAN links for traffic, utilization, errors and Service Level Agreement (SLA) verification by presenting accurate information on traffic and utilization, we help you to optimize bandwidth allocation.

  • Monitor link utilization and traffic with threshold alerts
  • Identify highly utilized and under-utilized links
  • Get alerted when interfaces start discarding packets

Customer can create business views (maps) to graphically visualize their entire WAN. NOC will send alerts when a link goes down.
NOC reporting functionality also provides customer a detailed availability report of all their interfaces. Customer can use these reports to ensure that their SLAs are being met.
NOC helps to quickly resolve problems by providing visibility into critical router performance variables like

  • CPU Utilization
  • Memory Utilization
  • Errors and Discards
  • Voltage, Temperature etc
  • Buffer statistics (Hits, misses and failures)

Also using custom SNMP monitors, customer can monitor several critical performance metrics provided by router vendor.
NOC can help network managers save on monthly recurring costs by identifying underutilized links. Armed with traffic trend charts and link utilization reports network managers can plan for additional capacity well in advance.

LAN & Switch Monitoring

Allied Digital NOC will provide Switch and Switch Ports availability monitoring. Customer can create business views (maps) to graphically visualize their entire LAN. NOC can send alerts when a link goes down.
NOC reporting functionality also provides detailed availability report of customer Switches and Switch Ports. Customer can use these reports to ensure that their SLAs are being met.
NOC helps customer to monitor and troubleshoot Switch Ports for traffic, utilization, errors and Service Level Agreement (SLA) verification. By presenting accurate information on port traffic and utilization NOC helps customers to identify top talkers on the LAN.

  • Monitor Port utilization and traffic with threshold alerts.
  • Detect potential BroadCast Storms and proactively prevent the same.
  • Identify highly utilized and under-utilized ports.
  • Alert generated when a port starts discarding packets
